Some of my features include Tom Heap investigating if the UK is sufficiently armed against threats of disease that spread from animals to humans, a look at whether the UK’s environmental watchdogs are doing enough to protect our wildlife habitats and how a soil revolution could help turn the tide of climate change by using regenerative agriculture and space technology.

Radio Times Pick of the Day: ‘Dr Aarti Jagannath explores revolutionary surgeries offering hope to patients with Parkinson’s and helping others walk again after years of chronic pain. Reflecting on 300 years of pioneering work in Oxford, she also reveals research making mind control a reality.’
As well as ‘The Radio Times pick of the day’, programme content was broadcast as far afield as Japan. I identified a new talent presenter and delivered £16,000 under budget.

Radio Times Pick of the Day: ‘Mary-Ann Ochota discovers the surprising history of the Rowing Eight; from Taxi Racing on the Thames to the University Boat Race, and how rowing was at the heart of a class war that ended up in Parliament.’
This programme was ‘The Radio Times pick of the day’, came in within a low budget and involved large complex shoots recreating the first Oxford Cambridge boat race on the Thames.

Rubbish Dump Britain, which was fronted by Richard Bilton investigating the issue of Fly-Tipping in the UK, had an audience of 3.3 Million viewers.

Features include a mother looking at drug use at the festival where her daughter died and Egyptologist Dr Liz Frood returns to Luxor 3 years after losing her legs to Sepsis.
Producing films on; history, science, rural issues, holding agencies to account and investigations. My versatility meant I was able to film more ambitious projects such as in Egypt with Professor Liz Frood, arranging Visas, filming permissions, travelling alone and self-shooting without the aid of a fixer. Made on a regional budget, this was broadcast as far afield as New Zealand. Liz has now gone on to present a documentary for BBC 4.

Sea City was a three part observational documentary series. As the Self-shooting Assistant Producer I was tasked with finding and setting up stories of interest and self-shooting with the embedded team.
